1. Size – standard isn’t your only option

The standard business card size is 90 × 50 mm—the most popular format.

However, you can choose square, vertical, or mini formats. Non-standard sizes are more memorable, which can be a strong advantage in industries like design, photography, or gastronomy.

2. Paper matters a lot

A business card printed on thin office paper sends a clear message: “I didn’t invest much.”

Coated, matte, or UV-finished paper is a completely different level. Professional printing offers various weights (usually 350–400 g/m²) and finishes.

Soft-touch paper adds elegance and a premium feel.

3. Single-sided or double-sided?
